Compatible Electronics provides comprehensive testing services for WiFi and Bluetooth devices. We test to FCC, ETSI, Industry Canada, and international standards to support worldwide certification of your wireless products, with NVLAP accreditation covering all primary WiFi and Bluetooth measurement standards.
Spread spectrum: WiFi 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, Zigbee. Primary measurement standard for FCC Part 15C intentional radiators.
U-NII 5 GHz and 6 GHz. No DFS testing. Accredited at all three locations.
Wideband data transmission at 2.4 GHz. Harmonized standard for RED Article 3.2. Covers WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee for CE marking.
Industry Canada DTSs and LE-LAN devices. WiFi and Bluetooth. No DFS testing.
Industry Canada 6 GHz RLAN. Supports parallel ISED certification for WiFi 6E devices.
Australia/New Zealand short range devices. Supports RCM marking for AU/NZ market entry.
A consumer electronics manufacturer needed FCC, ISED, and CE marking for a WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0 smart speaker. Compatible Electronics performed FCC Part 15C and Part 15E testing per ANSI C63.10 for both radios in worst-case simultaneous operation, RSS-247 Issue 3 for ISED, and ETSI EN 300 328 for the 2.4 GHz RED package. The 5 GHz WiFi testing covered all non-DFS U-NII channels in-house, with DFS coordinated through a partner laboratory. All three markets were covered from a single test campaign.
A wearable technology company needed FCC Certification and Australian RCM marking for a Bluetooth Low Energy fitness band. Testing per ANSI C63.10 covered all 40 BLE channels at maximum transmit power, EIRP with the flex PCB antenna, and spurious emission scanning. AS/NZS 4268 testing for the Australian RCM mark was performed in parallel from the same measurement data. RF exposure evaluation confirmed MPE compliance at 20 cm for the wrist-worn use case.
A factory automation company required FCC Certification for a rugged 5 GHz WiFi access point designed for U-NII-1 and U-NII-3 only — explicitly excluding DFS bands for deterministic channel operation in manufacturing environments. Because no DFS channels were implemented, all Part 15E testing was completed entirely at Compatible Electronics without partner laboratory coordination, simplifying the certification process and reducing schedule risk.
ISO/IEC 17025:2017 compliant, ILAC-MRA signatory, and FCC Listed Test Laboratory.
Accredited for ANSI C63.10 (2013), EN 300 328 V2.2.2, RSS-247 (Issues 2 & 3), RSS-248 (Issues 1 & 2), AS/NZS 4268.
FCC, Industry Canada, and CE marking test reports produced from one test session.
DFS testing coordination through partner laboratory for complete 5 GHz FCC certification package.
Identify emissions and spectral mask issues early to reduce certification risk and retesting costs.
