FCC Certification Testing Services

Compatible Electronics provides comprehensive FCC certification testing services to help manufacturers bring products to the US market. Our NVLAP accredited laboratory performs testing for FCC equipment authorization under both Supplier's Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) and Certification procedures, with accredited test reports accepted by all Telecommunication Certification Bodies (TCBs).

SDoC

Supplier's Declaration of Conformity

Self-declaration based on accredited test results. Required for most unintentional radiators (Part 15B) and some intentional radiators. No FCC ID is assigned — the manufacturer holds the test records.

Certification (FCC ID)

Required for intentional radiators under Part 15C, Part 15E (U-NII), and other subparts. Issued by a TCB based on Compatible Electronics test reports. Our reports are accepted by all major TCBs.

Real-World Testing Examples

WiFi 6 Router — FCC ID via TCB

A networking equipment manufacturer required FCC Certification for a WiFi 6 tri-band router covering 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz.
